MATH 1XX3, Winter 2019

CALCULUS FOR MATH AND STATS II

Which calculus course should I take?

Math 1X03 — 1XX3  This two-semester sequence is called Calculus for Math&Stats. If you are registered in Level I Math&Stats you are required to take this sequence. If not, you have to ask permission. The course assumes that you have taken Grade 12 Calculus&Vectors, that you did reasonably well in it, and that you remember it reasonably well. It also assumes that you want to learn more about mathematics — not just how to do the calculations, but why that is the right way to do the calculations. If you are interested in pursuing a degree in Math&Stats, this is the right sequence to take. The list of topics covered is the same as Math 1A03-1AA3.

INSTRUCTOR: L. Bronsard
