• Review problems: Judson, Chapter 16, 1 - 41; Chapter 17, 1 - 28; Chapter 18, 1 - 19 except those that explicitly mention UFDs or Euclidean domains; Chapter 20, 1 - 18; Chapter 21, 1 - 27 except for those that explicitly mention splitting fields; Chapter 22, 1 - 29 except those problems which mention codes.
  
• Here is the second test and solutions.
• The second test will be in class, Mar. 9.  It will cover all the material covered in class since Tuesday, Jan. 31 until Friday, Mar. 2.  This roughly corresponds to the material in sections 17.3, 18.2, chapter 20, 21.1 of Judson as well as sections 9.4 - 9.6, 11.1, 13.1-2 of Dummit and Foote.  The best guide to exactly what is covered is my lecture notes.

• I will have an office hour on Monday 11 - 12; I will change my office hours for the rest of the term to M 10:30 - 11:30 and Th 9:30 - 10:30.
