Math 3B03, Winter 2004
Homework Problems

Take homework assignments seriously and write down your solutions in detail; justify each step in your proofs. You may discuss problems with other students, but you should write down solutions on your own - this is the best way to make sure you understand the material and are able to write proofs on your own.

Your proofs should not read like novels; long and wordy justifications for your steps are unnecessary. Each step of your proof should be an obvious consequence of the previous steps, axioms and previously proven results, and it is sufficient to just refer to the statement you're using.

After the due date I will post solutions to the assignment on this page - I advise you to check your solutions against the solutions I provide.

ASSIGNMENTS ARE TO BE HANDED-IN IN CLASS ON THE DUE DATE. NO LATE ASSIGNMENTS WILL BE ACCEPTED.
