Part A.
1. Using R, reproduce exactly Fig. 1.3 on page 19 of Agresti (2002)
2. We considered 5 different pivotal quantities. Consider all 5 for the following cases: (a) univariate normal with known variance; (b) univariate normal with unknown variance; (c) univariate gamma parameterized with mean and shape. For (b) and (c), pick an example, generate random data, and plot the 5 jont 90%, 95% and 99% confidence regions you get.
