I'm leaving - what do I need to know?

Computing resources and support at McMaster are divided roughly into three domains: research, instructional and administrative. This site focuses on research computing, which is provided through a support contract with the Research & High-Performance Computing Support group. Contact sysadmin@math.mcmaster.ca for assistance.

Administrative computing is provided by University Technology Services (formerly CIS). Exceptions to this general rule include the departmental Web sites and the mail server (see menu at left). Administrative resourses include: support for the network, campus email service, general office software; central services used in the departmental office; MUGSI.
