The following information is out-of-date, but gives an idea of the
pace of the course.
Homework Assignments The
homework assignements will not be marked, but will be discussed during
tutorials. The importance of doing homework cannot be overemphasised.
You will not learn the material without working on problems. On the
other hand, if you can do the homework problems you will be able to do
the exams. The problems given have brief solutions in the text, so you
can check if you are doing them correctly. You can also ask your TA or
instructor about specific problems, or to look over your work.
