Research scholarships are often
funded from the research grants of faculty members. University scholarships
are described in detail in Sections
8.3 and
8.4 of the Graduate Calendar.
Below is some additional information on external scholarships, including
eligibility criteria and application procedures.
- NSERC post-graduate fellowships:
apply to the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council
through your undergraduate institution; for Canadian citizens
and landed immigrants only
- Ontario Graduate Scholarships (OGS):
for Canadian citizens and landed immigrants, or visitors with
student authorization, who have an overall average of at least
A- in the last two years of post-secondary studies and who plan
to enrol on a full-time basis at an Ontario University; apply
through your current university if you are in Ontario or else
