Suitably qualified students may apply for admission to the Ph.D. in Mathematics and choose a supervisor and thesis topic in statistics or probability. Students in the M.Sc. program can apply for transfer to the Ph.D. program after completing only the coursework requirements of the M.Sc.

Applicants from overseas will normally be required to complete the M.Sc. in Statistics before they can be offered admission to Ph.D. studies.
