Final Exam Information:
- Date, Time, and Locations: Check the registrar's web site
- Duration: 3 hours
- Format: Multiple choice
- Number of Questions: 40
- Coverage: All sections in the course calendar
- Weighting: The weighting of the material in each chapter is roughly proportional to the time spent on each chapter, as given in the course calendar. i.e., roughly equal weight is given to all sections in the course calendar
- You MUST bring your student I.D. card to the exam
- Only the McMaster Standar Calculator Casio fx-991 is allowed
- Formulas: The 2 page formula sheet from the front of the courseware will be provided with the exam.
- Tables: page A-39 of the textbook (i.e., the normal table for positive z-values only) and the following page of partial tables will be provided with the exam

Test #2 Information:
- Date: Monday March 19th
- Time: 7:00pm-8:15pm
- Total Marks: 19
- Format: 18 Multiple Choice Questions, worth 1 mark each plus the following question worth 1 mark on proper computer card filling: "Correctly fill out the bubbles corresponding to your student number and the version number of your test in the correct places on the computer card."
- Coverage: Sections 7.1, 7.2, 7.5, 7.8, 6.4, 7.3, 8.2, 12.3-12.5
- Formulas: The 2 page formula sheet from the front of the courseware will be provided with the test.
- Tables: page A-39 of the textbook (i.e., the normal table for positive z-values only) and the following page of partial tables will be provided with the test
- sample tests are available in the Assignment/Lab manual
- You MUST bring your student I.D. card to the test
- Only the McMaster Standar Calculator Casio fx-991 is allowed
- Your name and signature must be written in PEN on both the test paper and on the computer card.
- The rest of the computer card must be filled out in PENCIL
- See page 79 of the lab manual for instructions on how to fill out the computer card, and see page 80 of the lab manual for an example.
- If you cannot write the test due to medical or family reasons then fill out the MSAF. In that case the weight for the missed test will be added to your final exam.

- Tables: page A-39 of the textbook (i.e., the normal table for positive z-values only) and Table E (the t table) from the textbook will be provided with the test

There is a ROOM CHANGE for Section 4 (C04) with Dr. Childs. The new room is HSC/1A1, effective immediately.
Labs start on January 9th
The Assignment/Lab manual (i.e., the Custom Courseware) for this term is not the same as last term or last year. The course calendar and the assignments (i.e., the first 30 pages or so) are different. But the rest of the Assignment/Lab manual is the same.
