Limited Power Failure Friday Morning
We lost power in parts of Hamilton Hall for two minutes at about 8:00 am. The server room was not affected. Most affected workstations will have come back up on their own; workstations on desktop UPS units will have stayed up.
A decent little desktop battery-backup unit can be had for about $40 these days and will let your computer sail unaffected through most power interruptions. Let me know if you're interested in buying one.
