Network Outage Sunday Morning
UTS has announced that they will be doing network upgrades to Hamilton Hall between 8 am and noon this Sunday; assume that internal and external network access and workstations will be down for this period.
Here's the announcement from UTS:
The data network in Hamilton Hall will be interrupted, also affecting the data network in:
CSB (Campus Service Building)
ADL (Applied Dynamics Lab)
and IP phone service in:
LPH (Les Prince Hall)
DBAC (David Braley Athletics Centre)
Such interruption is necessary in order to convert the switches to be at a lower risk of failure during power outage, and to enhance phone system reliability.
Emergency phones in elevators will continue working, as will outside lines for fax equipment.
Impact: Data network out of service in HH & IP phones out in LPH & DBAC.

End Time: 12:00 noon
Duration: 4 hours
