Firefox Update on the msprime Stations
I've upgraded firefox on the msprimefrom 1.5 to 1.5.0.1. Sounds fabulously uniteresting, but I'm hoping that this will resolve some stability problems we've been experienced, as promised in the release notes.

msprime Workstation Reboots
I have reconfigured the msprime workstations in order to improve the server performance. Every system will have to be rebooted in order for the changes to take effect.
Please logoff before you leave today; your workstation will reboot automatically within half an hour. If you computer has not rebooted by Tuesday, I will arrange a time to reboot it manually.
Please let me know if a reboot will interfere with any long-running calculations (be sure to mention the name of your workstation).

Colour Printer Woes
The Lexmark C750 colour printer in HH-401 has been a source of grief for some weeks: it ignores requests for two-sided printing and some jobs just never seem to reach it. I'll be spending some quality time with the C750 next week; until I sort things out, please approach it with extra time and patience.

Patch for Safari Vulnerability
The Safari vulnerability mentioned last week is addressed in the latest OS X 10.4 patch. I recommend running software update ASAP; a reboot is required.
