- Global Riemannian geometry
- Hyperbolic manifolds and Kleinian groups (including higher dimensions
and complex hyperbolic geometry)
- Geometric structures and varieties of representations
(hyperbolic, flat conformal, CR, affine structures)
- Topology of manifolds (low-dimensional manifolds, aspherical manifolds,
controlled topology)
- Asymptotic (also called large scale) geometry.
